To mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Winston Churchill in January 1965, the Isle of Man Post Office has issued a new set of Churchill stamps. The stamps were released on January 2nd, 2015. The eight stamps include depictions of Churchill as a soldier, young politician, painter, writer, bricklayer, and speaker. The stamps can be viewed at the Isle of Man Post Office web site. Churchill has, of course, been depicted in stamps many times before with stamps issued by such countries as the United States, Panama, Canada, and Burkina Faso, then known as Upper Volta.  The five stamp set released in 1975 by Upper Volta are rather interesting and can be viewed online.
